RIP George Wein

Post by Andy Volk »

Many indelible performances - as well as the classic film "Jazz on a Summer's Day" and Dylan getting booed for going electric - wouldn't have happened without him. A tireless promoter of jazz and folk music for more than 50 years.

One of the movers and shakers of the mid-century jazz and folk music producers. Like Andy said, "indelible."
My rig: Infinity and Telonics.

Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg?
