RIP Pervis. I used to listen to the Staples Singers way way back when I was first getting my feet wet with playing music, around the same time I began poking around on the guitar . They are iconic as well as an influence

Every now and then at the end of a Movie or on a Soundtrack, one of thier songs appears, my wife will always ask, who is that singing ? man she is good.

Its Mavis ! :D
Emmons L-II , Fender Telecasters, B-Benders , Eastman Mandolin ,
