Hi lapsteelers,
Home after a beautiful journey in the south of Europe.
Back to steelworks !
This time I took the quiet Claptonsong to make an arrangement for C6 and tab it.
I think it'll work fine for melodyplayers, that want more than the wellknown hawaiian tunes.
Not too difficult, not too fast.
Bert you did it again! Great arrangement for Tears in Heaven. Such a great tune to play on the lap steel. All of your tabbed songs have helped me learn the C6 tuning. I like that you have tabbed a wide variety of song genres.
Thanks Bert! Great job on this modern classic! I really appreciate the work you graciously offer for free to us Lapsteel Newbies!!!
Thanks again,
Mike Marsh
Steven: To be honest, I wouldn't know! This is the one cheap lapsteel I bought about six years ago,
and learned to play and become friends with .
Anyway, I wouldn't have the money to buy one of these legendary instruments!
But no problem, music comes from inside, and I find my way!
Hi Bert,
Thank you for sending me "Tears in Heaven" and "Last Date" your tab is great, and I'm having fun mastering these songs. I appreciate your talent shared with us!

Hey Bert, this is an old thread but just in case... I'd love to have the tabs. I'm working on getting Jay Dee Maness to a gig, which reminded me of his original playing on the tune, so I thought I'd learn it. Yours would help me get a huge headstart! Thanks Kevin oi@kgillies.com
Sorry about the huge photo - don't see how to make it smaller...
Thank you, guys!
Two weeks ago I've posted a long list with songs I tabbed in the last 6 years.
It took many, many hours to make them playable, write it out, and do the YouTube clips.
So from now on I ask you to make a donation of 4 dollar/euro for each title on my Paypal account farroach.tabs@gmail.com
I'll send you TAB plus backing track. And don't forget your e-mail address!
Thank you, Bert
