Has anyone given this pedal a run yet? I assume this would be used as a pre-amp straight into the board as an amp modeler?
My bass player is all-in on inner ear monitors and reducing stage volume, but I'm still willing to lug an amp. Unless....

Re: New Peavey Session-LTD Pedal?
I beta tested the pedal. I didn’t run it into the board, rather as the preamp to power amp to speaker cabinet. It captures the tonal qualities of the original Session 400, and who better to do that than Peavey! My test setup was Mullen G2, Goodrich Omni volume pedal, Nux Atlantic reverb/delay, Session pedal/Ganz Straight Ahead power amp, Peavey 1501 in a closed back cabinet. The Nux, Session pedal and power amp all fit in a briefcase and weighed in about 12 pounds. My back thanked me for that. I have no reason to doubt that going direct with the Session pedal would be anything less than great.

These look cool but I can't understand why they didn't at least squeeze in a basic digital reverb - it would have cost very little to add it, and obviously the target audience is steel players who more or less need it.
